SCP 2316 Vintage Poster

My second attempt since my haggis poster at a vintage aesthetic poster based on the SCP creative universe. This poster was based on SCP 2316 by djkaktus.

Making this poster I did various iterations using common compositions used in posters to see what would fit the misty, mysterious, somber aesthetic I was going for. For the art style I focused on block colours with some light shading and minimal details, my biggest inspiration for this piece was the posters featured in Outlast Trials for the main trials and the character posters in Reverse:1999.

As someone with more experience doing turn around sheets and designs it was fun to play around with different techniques and learn about composition and colour to make this piece.
